Gratitude makes the world a better place.

Why Gratitude

Gratitude is the most accessible of all wisdoms. It costs the least to give yet it yields the biggest return. More than 21,000 people – with nearly 2 million combined years of wisdom – call Atria home. Our residents know the wisdom of gratitude and understand its power to make the world a better place.

The Mission

To realize the full potential of gratitude, it must not only be felt, but shared. In 2016, our residents launched a mission to #goGrateful and rallied others to join them. They made gift baskets for first responders, had pop-up tai chi classes in parks and set up “appreciation stations” in their communities.

Their mission continues today, and everyone is welcome to be a part of it.

Let’s #goGrateful Together

World Gratitude Day is September 21, and Atria residents, families and staff across the U.S. and Canada are celebrating by expressing gratitude in 100 different ways for the remaining 100 days of 2019. It’s part of Atria’s 100 Days of Gratitude challenge and the fourth annual Go Grateful campaign.

We invite you to go grateful with us. Join the movement and express gratitude in your neighborhood. Share your acts of gratitude on social media using the hashtag #goGrateful. Let’s make the world a better place together.
